@juki009 I'm certainly not an expert on this... but I think it is the faster burn rate of smokeless powder that causes the barrel to burst. The shock from the quick burn may cause older muzzle loader barrels to burst, even with lighter loads. probably best to just stick to smoky powder.

Based on the message in this video I'm hoping this documentary flopped... Kookie moose is right, hiking the AT should be about challenging and enjoying yourself in the great outdoors, not passing someone to prove your better than they are. Please keep your freudian complex off the AT...
