At the time CTW was in his ascendancy he was competing with other singer/songwriters like Elton John, Cat Stevens, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Carole King, Neil Young and James Taylor etc etc. He kind of got lost in the mix in the seventies. He sounded great then, but sounds even greater now.
