@bigmuff335 Saying that Interpol defines music is an exaggeration. Anyways, Interpol's myspace says that they are Alternative "Indie" Rock. With that said, The Smiths were still considered an indie band even though they hit the mainstream.

@shane31lv Yeah you know, my father said the same thing about 80's band Tears for Fears. If you can recall the song Mad World, those are some depressing lyrics, but the music sounds very bright and happy. It's just awesome how these things can be put together like that.

@Petrikau Ah yeah, I love trying to figure out what the message is in their songs. Most of them I can't understand, but we the fans somehow find a way to relate to them.

The chorus to this song was put together very well. Even the verses that build up to it were well thought out too. White Lies knows how to write songs.
