@Ageetarist Animals as Leaders are bad ass. Chimp Spanner is another cool band (solo project) all instrumental from UK.

Like it or not, it's completely ridiculous. He's gotta be one of the most technically proficient drummers ever. He's a master.

I wouldn't say Peart's the best drummer ever. I don't see how any one can make the claim of best drummer EVER. However, he has recorded some of the best rock tracks EVER. To me that's the difference. And oh yeah Gavin F'n ROCKS! Dude has some of the most impressive fills I've ever heard.

This sounds SOOO good! This could be the best new band I've heard in some time and I listen to way too much music!

Check out their new album "The Panic Broadcast!" Best since "Natural Born Chaos" in my humble opinion.

I wish these kind of bands (Riverside, Porcupine Tree) were bigger in the states! So much good prog over there.

If you dig this, which you obviously SHOULD, check out Lunatic Soul "Otherwhere" off of his second album. And if you're feeling frisky maybe a little Blackfield (Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree side project).

Mind explosion. Seeing them tonight. Can't wait. These guys are ridiculous. I hope Tosin plays both bass and guitar live. At the same time. Why not?
