In 1 Kings 2 Solomon's Subjects asked intercession of the Queen (Bathsheba) to beg favours of the King. As Christ's subjects we do the same. According to Jewish Tradition, Mary will be the Queen Mother of His New Kingdom. The New Eve, (Christ is the New Adam) The Early Church drew parallels between the first Adam's Tree of Death and Christ's Tree (Cross) of Life. Mary is also Mother of all re-born faithful since Christ gave her us for a Mother on the Cross when He said "Behold your Mother"

As Scripture tells us, Jesus is the eternal Davidic King and throughout the O.T The Jewish Kingdom was ruled by a King, a Gebirah (or Queen Mother) and a Prime Minister who held the authority to rule the Kingdom when the King was away (see Isaiah 22:22 compare with Jesus giving Peter the Keys in Matthew 16:19 He uses the same words to elect His Chief Steward.)
