TheTakeOverTV is the official YouTube Channel of the new Hip Hop brand "TakeOver Entertainment" which consist of musical talents Genisys & Mac The Don.


Genisys:
The name encompasses the essence of the duo. Their music emphasizes the creation of a new form of Hip Hop music; combining Da God 6EE's Brooklyn swag with A.C.E.'s "Strong" Island flow fostering an individualistic sound. From every aspect the group brings something original to the game ensuring quality and diversity in every word, beat, and song escaping from their mouth. According to Jerk Magazine, "...the tandem seamlessly jumps between styles, keeping listeners tuned into a singular, Genisys sound." The group prides itself on the inability to be categorized. The many attributes incorporated into their music makes it difficult to fit into one specific genre. One song is incomparable to the other. The only permissible constraint is Hip Hop: anything further would diminish the peculiarity of the group.


Mac The Don:
Moctar Fall taking upon the new alias "Mac The Don" is from Soundview in the south Bronx section of New York. Living in a community so close to where the genre originated, Mac couldn't help but find himself indulging in Hip Hop from a young age. Through friendly competition with other kids in the neighborhood , Mac quickly realized his love for the art. It wasn't until he graduated High School and met up with duo Genisys, that Mac made his decision to be a rapper. Mac The Don is currently 1/2 of the Takeover Entertainment brand and continues on his journey to achieving his goal of being remembered as a great lyricist. Mac has opened up for artist such as Sable Alexsis, performed at multiple venues in Syracuse, NY and is the current champion of the Syracuse University Hip-Hop showcase. Including intricate rhyme schemes with flashy punch lines, The Don focuses on delivering authentic bars that epitomize the image he conveys while keep that smooth characteristic constant in his music.
