To start I recommend you follow this simple ten point plan if the BBC TV Licence staff come knocking on your door or on the very rare occasions calling your phone.
1. Don't answer the door or speak to them ever.
2. If unfortunately you do accidental open the door to them say "I have no contract with you" and shut the door.
3. Ignore their vile letters and phone calls, these are just threats to get you to jump and pay up.
4. Don't worry, the TV detector van is a complete and utter myth. It's premiss is absolutely impossible based on all currently understood electromagnetic physical laws and ridiculous in the extreme to prove in real world conditions.
5. Remember they need a search warrant to enter your home!
Judges don't give them out and can't give them out without a name for the said address and real world empirical evidence of live broadcasts being watched at the time.
6. They are trying to sell you a licence and have no more power than a double glazing salesman, they are NOT the police and do not have any special powers.
7. NEVER EVER SIGN ANYTHING, ESPECIALLY ON THE DOOR!
8. You should get a letter every month threatening you, "your under investigation" etc, ignore them it's normal. They send these letters to homes with no one even living in them.
9. Give them NO information at all, it's your right to do so.
10. Be strong and stay steadfast, remember you have the power and NOT them!

the license we HAVE TO PAY hasnt been cut you hardly make any new shows (none that cost much anyway) how come you have to make more cuts! the bbc have never had it so good since you are funded by the people and advertising these days with your phony commercial arm (way of having your cake and eating it!!!) you have cut the f1 and forced millions of people to either spend 20 pound a month on sky supscriptions or go without a sport that has been fta since its inception why the cuts are you saying that for many years now you have been totally wasting money (jonathan ross 18 million for example) YOUR A DISGRACE!!!
