"He who sacrifices freedom for security deserves neither." Ben Franklin.
"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government. Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have. The course of history shows that as government grows, liberty decreases."
President Thomas Jefferson.
"The power to tax is the power to destroy." John Marshall, Fomer Chief Justice of the United States.
"Liberty means responsibility, that is why most men dread it." George Bernard Shaw.
"Markets work and governments don't. Free markets do it best — why fool with anything else?" Ludwig von Mises.
"Modern civilisation, which enables us to maintain six billion people in this world, was made possible by the institution of private property. It's only thanks to this institution that we achieved an extensive order far exceeding anybody's knowledge, and if we destroy that moral basis which consists of the recognition of private property we will destroy the sources which nourishes present day mankind and create a catastrophe of starvation beyond anything mankind has ever experienced." Friedrich von Hayek.
"The Federal Reserve System virtually controls the nation's monetary system, yet it is accountable to no one. It has no budget; it is subject to no audit; and no Congressional Committee knows of, or can truly supervise, its operations."
Murray N. Rothbard.
"Organised crime in America begins with the Federal Government." Irwin Schiff.
"The MERGER of state and corporate powers is called by definition, is FASCISM. We own Citigroup, AIG, Fanny Mae, Freddy Mac, we bail out Goldman Sachs..." Gerald Celente.

"Liberty tolerates those expressing obnoxious or offensive views, but not those who stir up violence or otherwise direct harm against other people."
Dominic Raab (Conservative MP).

01. We have been lied to too many times.
02. Government is increasing.
03. More senseless wars are being planned.
04. Inflation is ballooning.
05. Our basic freedoms are disappearing.
Basically, I don't care what people do in their personal lives, so long as it doesn't affect me or other people.
In my view, everybody is the same, we're all human beings, and everyone should be free to live their lives as they want to, so long as they're not violating the liberties of other people, and aren't hurting other people.
Also, people should take responsibility for their own lives, in other words, you're free to live your life but if you make a mess of it you're the person who should have to clean it up, and you shouldn't force other people to do it for you, but you can ask them to help you.

This is the reason why (even if people understand economics correctly) in the present system of government it would be led into very stupid economic policies.
Capitalism should not be condemned, since we haven't had capitalism. A system of capitalism presumes sound money, not fiat money manipulated by a central bank. Capitalism cherishes voluntary contracts and interest rates that are determined by savings, not credit creation by a central bank.
There is no evidence that capitalism exists today. We are deeply involved in an interventionist-planned economy that allows major benefits to accrue to the politically connected of both political parties. One may condemn the fraud and the current system, but it must be called by its proper names — Keynesian inflationism, interventionism, and corporatism.
