Honestly, I once found a pretty good 'summary' on Accelerator's issue with killing. You colud see him as the sort of person who looks at someone like Touma with a bit of jealousy - Touma walks that idealistic path of a 'hero'. Accelerator 'knows' that that path doesn't belong to him - but he does...

The 'Big Key' was used for the boss keys in A Link to the Past because the key was also used for the item treasure chest in each dungeon as well as the boss door.

Maybe they were referencing that game? Maybe? I dunno XD.
