Honest, informed and insightful, Sunny James never insist that you look at an issue a certain way as do so many mainstream media "big voices" from Washington, D.C. Above all else, she wants her listeners to think. There are great stories out there that should register with people a little longer, Sunny shares those stories with her listeners and encourages them to find it and "read more about it." Whether it's a small news items that may have been missed, new book or music titles or stories about how people are living differently, Sunny challenges you to change your paradigm. One week great stories might come from Rolling Stones, New Republic and Business Week. The next week it's Mother Jones, The International Herald Tribune, TIME and The WEEK. Sunny says, "There is never enough time to share an item in its entirety but I send my listeners on their way knowing where to find it and hopefully giving listeners an understanding that there is such a small portion of what's going on in the world that's actually delivered to their front doors or that people tune into at 6 and 11."In addition to the headlines and an occasional commentary, her show features: "On the Street," where simple questions are put to pedestrians who offer not so simple answers, "Sunny's Good Word" to expand listeners' vocabulary, and she geographically questions "Where in the World Is . . ." which sends listeners to their maps and atlas to find the new and maybe the familiar. The show is capped off with an interesting bit of music-- the paradigm twisting "For The Musically Stuck in a Rut"--for those folks who haven't listened to anything new since high school.
Whatever your political or social beliefs and standing, Sunny enlightens your world.
The Sunny James Show is back with new shows and a fresh attitude. So, what are you waiting for? Go, Listen! The Sunny James Show comes in your ear.
