My Life Story...

I'm Ericka. I'm a Stick Figure. I'm a workaholic. I'm in my twenties. I'm also in the middle of a quarterlife crisis. haha.

This is it. This is the prime of my life. This is where I make all the decision, where I set up the foundation for what is the rest of my life. There is no room for major mistakes or drama. Life is moving by quickly. Every time I turn around my life is changing in major and uninspected ways. Some changes are painful, some are enlightening, some are exciting, but all of these changes are apart of the "growing up" process. I have no idea what direction my life is going in anymore--it's exciting and scary all at the same time. (Esp. considering my resistance to change and the unknown).

I'm embarking on my 5th and last year of my undergraduate education. After graduation I plan on taking a year off to take the LSATs, prepare myself for 3 years of law school and a career in civil litigation/personal injury. It's what I'm suppose to be doing. It's my calling in life. It's something that I've thought about off/on since I was 7. and it's all because of a Jury Duty summons that I realized that this is what I'm suppose to be doing. Helping the small people achieve justice and help them navigate around the justice system. It was also though my jury duty service that I've gained the mentorship of a state supreme court justice and an inspiring attorney. It was an experiance that has forever changed me and that I am eternally grateful for. and of course, the dream would have never started without my childhood mentor of President Bill Clinton.
