About to head over for his 5th Rotation this Spring 2012, SSG Nathan Fair is an Infantry Squad Leader with the 2-508 Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82d ABN. He has served in and out of the military since 2001, with the 101st, and 10th MTN, and also as PSD for MG Michael Oates, and a WLC instructor. He is married to wife Andrea and with one daughter Emma (5). Nate has played the guitar off and on since he was 12 yrs old, and started writing his own music by the junior year of high school.

This is the most moving song I've heard come out of the War in the past 10 years, and written and performed by a fellow Soldier. Nate brought down the House with this incredible Patriotic song about a fallen comrade returning the medal his father gave him, and greeted by the company who carried his body home. Nathan Fair performs his original tribute "Fallen Soldier" to win Episode 1 of "Huske Unplugged - Singer/Songwriter Night".
