Can you use this amp in the bedroom? I realize that it needs to be cranked but hoping that it would still sound ok at low volume and driven with a OD pedal.

Again, so much perception and marketing that all tube is always better....yes definately nice but for most a really good solid state is also excellent (esp at bedroom and normal levels). The Peavey Bandit is sadly one of those amps which keep on being a thorn in the "tube is best" argument. Tube ...

I have had one of these before and it was fantastic. I am still toying with going solid state for reliability and that SS sound great at low levels....sigh, we are held captive by our psychology and perceptions!!
