Introducing Scott Lennox Mckenzie, aka Scott NoX

Born into a musical family, Scott learned to play and master many instruments from a young age, including the drums, piano and trumpet. He quotes, "I was one of those kids that was forced to play music because it was a family tradition. It has definitely paid off though, so I can't complain".

His parents introduced him to R&B, Rock, and Soul, and he credits his older brother as his Hip Hop influence, enlightening him to rap pioneers, LL Cool J, Rakim, and the Native Tongue Posse (A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, etc.). "My brother had turntables that I use to mess around with. It made me appreciate the art while both my brother's and parents vinyl collection broadened my knowledge of musicians. It was then that I fell in love with music".

Scott began learning music production, engineering, video editing and directing as a hobby, while attending High School and University. While in school, he teamed up with close friends to create Product of Toronto Productions and joined DreamVizion Media. "I had to pursue my musical and media dreams because of my imagination and creativity. And if I didn't, I would have probably regretted not trying".
