Rock Albers--the award-winning performance comedian--sings, plays the piano and rants at American politics and pop culture in a style described by the NEW YORK POST as "audaciously original." Albers has been championed in the new (2008) book LOUD & CLEAR by Karen Berg as a "hilarious yet provacative satirist." New York Magazine named his 2004 political show, "American Rock," as a "New and Noteworthy Off-Off Broadway Theater Pick." Rock was twice the recipient of the MAC Award for Best Male Stand-Up Comedian. Along the way he's played to full houses and garnered rave reviews for six shows which have been playing in New York City for eight years. He debuted his most recent political show, "Rock For America," at the Gotham Comedy Club in October 2008.
