how well do those CV carbs perform with the air filters on? I heard it doesn't perform nearly as well as it looks with those ait filters.

@flyboy3633 'introducing a liquid in the airstream only screws up the airflow measurements.' don't you think the effects of liquid in the air might better reflect the fluid mechanics of a carburated engine? Just a though, I'm not bashing you.

I don't think that front fairing flows well with the shape of the bike, it looks as if it needs to be raised another 30 degrees. other than that, its different and nice!

I tried this and found pieces of heavy metal and water that burned me, not tons of batteries like you said!

@CaseyMcLaughalot yeah, you can! I've done my calipers and I'm about to refinish my carburetors. It'll give you a nice dull finish but you'll have baking soda everywhere without a decent blasting cabinet!

Both Dainese and Alpinestars make great safety gear. However, Dainese is made in Italy whereas Alpinestars is made in China. Nonetheless, I recently purchased a quality Alpinestars track jacket that was half the price of it's Dainese competitor, and I'm more than happy with it.
