Formed during the Great Potato Famine, band members Villa Lemon, Charlie Chapel, Allah Bored, Parah Salin all share a love of chapstick, Jones Soda and books with dust jackets.

At a recent Potato Blight support meeting, The Rebeats met Damian and Arco Taheebo, and immediately hit it off talking about speeding tickets. They bring the same old original and new feel to The Rebeats, and we're happy to have them along!

In the Spring of 2009 -or approximately 164 years since the beginning of the Famine, the Rebeats met again, to record mostly classic 1990's hits and one-hit-wonders. Henceforth came Delilah Strongman, Skish Emptric, Lecstasy, Bill, Ted and Stevie Wow and a few others still requesting anonymity, as a result of the Rebeats' skyrocketing popularity.

We were even recognized in public, when we gave an impromptu performance at IHOP. Until these new members can be sure of their public status, they will be known as Huey and Dewey. Huey is the tall one.
