Lil Gee is an unsigned artist from Jacksonville FL, who has been writing music since the age of 13. At the age of 15 he was asked to join a record label which turned out to be a scam and never happen. From that day Lil Gee gave up on music for a couple months. In 2006, Lil Gee transferred from Englewood to Andrew Jackson High School where he would meet friend/artist Yung Cutt. Lil Gee found out that Yung Cutt was an unsigned artist as well and brought the feel of music back to Lil Gee when he was introduced to The Andrew Jackson Marching Tigers (Andrew Jackson High School Band). Over time Lil Gee and Yung Cut would record music that would be a little different from other unsigned artist from Jacksonville. Almost everyday Lil Gee would visit Yung Cutt's home (the studio) to record songs that they both would record on. They thought to themselves "we should form a group". With the help of there best friend Georgia Boy, Lil Gee and Yung Cutt brainstormed on a name. As an alias to his rap name or stage name, Lil Gee called himself "Tha Rippa". So they decided to come up with the name "Tha Yung Rippaz". Over the years, Tha Yung Rippaz made songs that would catch most people attention. they felt that they could make it into the music business easily with the music they were composing. things were going great, compliments came here and there. they were known in school as the boys who "rap". People who they didnt even know honored there music. (contact Lil Gee to know more about the Yung Rippaz). In the studio things were being changed and Lil Gee was the last to know about the things that were going on in "ha Yung Rippaz" music. Yung Cutt's brother "smooth" would come into the picture and basically run the group and give insights that probably would be good for them a while back. This continued and continued until finally Lil Gee spoke up. Nothing changed so Lil Gee took matters into his own hands and his mother spent money on equipment in order to give Lil Gee his own studio time, instead of having to wait to record. When Yung Cutt found out about this he was brainwashed by others who led him to think Lil Gee would just get into the music business and leave him behind. Sure enough this came back to Lil Gee. He wondered why Yung Cutt would let that type of nonsence get into his head. "I was trying to teach you a lesson.We are the ones who control our group.
