This song is a trainwreck set against a backdrop of piano accompaniment. The sheer humanity of it all has created such a hauntingly beautiful tragedy that none dare look away for fear they miss something life changing.

This is one of the hardest songs to listen to in my life, but it's because of the significance of meaning I've attached to it. I praise God for the good memories. Bless the Lord, o my soul! Forever I will praise you, My Savior and God!

It is an eternal shame that the creators of this song and video will never truly know how much this song means to me in this time. Thank you for the video.

This was the teaser, and the whole idea of it was to arouse, either anticipation amongst those who know about the series, curiosity amongst those who haven't, and overall intrigue for everything related that follows. It's not horrible. It's sheer genius.

There's more power in this chorus than in any writing of man, I truly believe. As someone going through the full spectrum of the human experience at the moment, I will tell you there's an awesome power in both the standing and the falling on God's grace, in the singing for joy and weeping for hom...

@AzureMonk It's this earnestness amidst failings that made his lyrics/performances so powerful. As Rich said in his Sometimes By Step video, art has everything to do with being human. For this reason I prefer his live performances. Less perfection, more perfecting :)

I think I'm forever traumatized by The Shining that a happy/innocent clip like this causes me to look around the corner for the freaky twins who say "Come play with us!" Hahaha...

@Pumpkingilmour Cobain admitted writing Teen Spirit as an attempt to rip off the Pixies. As for the unsubstantiated claims of one man after Cobain died, maybe, but the lyrics fit Cobain's style, and why would he take credit for a song he despised? If he hated it, just pass the buck the way Quiet ...

The introspective poignancy of this song brings me to my knees. I think the line "When you gonna love you as much as I do" is the most wonderfully jarring lyric of hers. Not just what is said in it, but how it's said and why.

And I realize this film isn't the provocative look at a relationship built upon substance addiction, but Candy had plenty of relational drama from a love's fire burning too bright it consumed them. I am anxious to see Williams in this role, as I am sure there are some similarities to her reality ...

Amy Adams has never been hotter than when she table-crawled to the crescendo to this wonderful song! This IS awesome!

Kate Hudson was never as good as when she was with Penny Lane around. This and the airport scene stand as the heights of her ability. She has no words in either. She's all character, all personality. Each scene brings my emotions to its knees. Damn fine. Shame she sold out for the quick/easy buck...
