@winnethejewPB That is a dreadfully inconsiderate thing to say. And he is right. Though I find this song great fun, it is a 'gay' song - to think that that means it is bad is ridiculous and homophobic.

@MrMikenotts01 Charles Trenet was a homosexual and there was even doubt at one point as to whether he was jewish - he had to have his family tree checked. Because of this Homosexuality, Trenet was himself in grave danger of deportation to the camps and may have had little choice but to co-operate...
