@MannyRamone1 they made this album after Johnny's fight with the construction worker where he had to get surgery and shave his head. that's why it's called Too Tough to Die. so, his hair was just growing back.

@steigs89 how does music grow? why does it have to grow? the idea of musical progression is a fallacy.

the caption clearly says he played the rhythm part. it was likely someone else who did those surf-style leads.
