Sup everyone, My name is Xiaonan (male in case you're wondering) and I'm a self taught artist and this is where I share my passion.
I like to think of my art as not just the final product but the entire process of creating it, which is often lost for many artists. So my time-lapse videos is a nice way to capture that process and allowing me to share it with the world.
Hope you enjoy watching them as much as I enjoy creating them.

About Me:
============================
COMMON FAQ - I get these questions a lot so might as well put them here. Most questions are regarding charcoal only.
============================
Q. How old are you?
A. early 20s
Q.How long does it take you to draw each portrait?
A. on average between 2 to 3 hours depends on the drawing.
Q.What is that tool that I see in your vids?
A. I use regular charcoal pencil, mostly HB, sometimes soft. Hard rubber eraser, kneaded eraser, tortillion(blending tool).
(I know you suppose to use different pencils for different tones. But most time I just do everything with HB pencil. All about blending and pressure control. Seems to work out so far.
Q. What's that black glove thingy that you wear?
A. It's called smudge guard. You can learn more about it at www.smudgeguard.com
Q. Can I hire you to do a personal portrait?.
A. Yes, check my website's commission section for more information.
Q. Can I buy original drawings.
A. Yes (if original isn't sold yet) , check my website for more information.
