I suppose you are riding 'a bit faster' then average speeds there, and the car from 4:50 manages to keep a nice distance from you.

I should check the traffic rules from my country (other then UK) again, because I thought there was somewhere mentioned: 'Filter through traffic when traffic is slow, else: follow normal rules (for example: do not overtake via right side, only left os allowed when moving at higher speeds).
