@tbhelicopters Don't know if it helps, but I bought a used Marshall AVT50 head and a Crate 4x12 for $225 at GC, put an EQ, and overdrive inline with a Deltalab delay in the loop and on the overdrive channel it gets a great VH 1 sound.

@flashingleather31 The sticks are not spacific to position. Malkin, Staal, and many others play Total one's. I have 3 high school players two play with total ones, the other plays vapor 2 pc. I have an AVT50 head with a Peavey cab and when i added a EQ, and an overdrive pedal (I use a MXR classic OD, a Delta OD, and a Boss Power Stack depending on distortion level I'm looking for) this thing really came to life. The EQ pedal really gives this amp a ton of depth.

Thanks for demo'ing a pedal the right way!!! Finally. By having a 2nd person to adjust as you play while switching on and off you get a great feel for the pedals response.

@J5150C An FYI: Fastenal has the un-chromed, flat black fine tuners. They didn't have the proper length but that was easily fixed with a dremmel.

@emrextreme I have both this guitar, and an Agile alder body tele copy. It depends on the sound you are looking or, the ash is definantly brighter, bodering on "glassy" with the stock pups. @strictlyedge1 I have both, and neither one is "better" but they have a different growl. The Delta had more of a cranked like hell tube amp sound to me, where the Boss is like a mild fuzz pedal.
