THE PEOPLE'S MUSEUM is chartered by the Board of Regents of the Education Department of the State of New York in Albany. We are a non-profit organization with a 501(C)(3) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Servece Code EIN 11-3589575.and was approved by the New York State Museum in 2000. and we are also a General Museum. Our mission is to reach out and draw in those segments of the public, who do not ordinarily find great collection of artifacts of the past of any interest, we have founded this institution. With the use of videos, englightened guest speakers and unique displays we desire to encourage interst in all citizens. Special efforts will be made to involve those educational facilities who work with adults and children with special needs, the mantally and physically challenged. They too make up our world and have a right to learn about it. For all people who wish to learn and share, I wish to continue The People's Museum.
