The People's Museum is chartered by the Board of Regents in Albany. We are a nonprofit organization with a 501C3 and was approved by the New York State Museum in 2000. Our mission is to reach out and draw in those segments of the public, who do not ordinarily find great collection of artifacts of the past of any interest, we have founded this institution. With the use of videos, englightened guest speakers and unique displays we desire to encourage interst in all citizens. Special efforts will be made to involve those educational facilities who work with adults and children with special needs, the mantally and physically challenged. They too make up our world and have a right to learn about it. For all people who wish to learn and share, I wish to continue The People's Museum.

The People's Museum is a General Museum.
