Made by the creators of Robert and Sheepy.
This four minute animation is a road safety campaign made in 2001 for the New Zealand Land Transport Agency through Clemenger BBDO Wellington.
It took fourteen months to make and won several advertising awards that year.
The creatives at Clemenger saw early Robert and Sheepy episodes and asked Jemaine, Guy and Tim to come up with something for cinema that would be fun but also have a message.
Many artists and technicians worked over a year to create Dave and his mates, the world they live in and put it all together. I hope I've got everyone here - please let me know if I've forgotten you.
