About this user
I have been a Safety Professional for over 30 years. I worked at The sunflower Plant in 1967, served in four commands with oversight over plants and depots. I spent five years in Heidelberg, Germany as a Branch Chief of Explosives and Range Safety. The last eleven years of my career were spent at the DoD Explosives Safety Board as a member of the Secretariat. It was during this time that I studied the history of explosive accidents, which I based my first book , "The Final Second" on. I am now retired from Civil Service and I work as a contractor for the Air Force Safety Center.
I am married to my soul mate, Ruth, who proofreads my books with the greatest of care and finesse. She is also a superb quilt maker.
