About The Parent Professor
Hi, I'm Dr. Angela Martin-Walker, also known as "The Parent Professor." When people ask me what my job is, I explain I am an edu-tainer...I am a professor of education who travels around the country putting on fun interactive family literacy workshops. I am perhaps best known for my Families Building Better Readers elementary workshop and my Mysteries in the Middle workshop for the middle school level. I just launched a new workshop called Readers of the Caribbean that I am really excited about.
