'Pam Gilles Casting' has been in business of helping directors tell their stories for over 25 years. Pam's career came into play after working with Rick Pagano on a Gus van Sant feature film. She then developed and put into action a company called 'Entertainment Enterprises' in Portland, Oregon. Pam was casting local commercials, national commercials and a host of infomercials. Under that umbrella Pam taught Children's theatre in the summer, supervising the directors and actors. An Extras Casting company was created while consulting actors on their careers. Having been lured by Hollywood clients asking Pam for help on films such as 'Horse Whisperer', produced by Patrick Palmer (Little Children) and other commercial clients, Pam moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1997. Alongside her casting career, included working for Patrick Palmer on big budget feature film called 'Carrie II: The Rage' in the art department, under Linda Spheeris. Getting an okay on producer director walk by was a high during that time, as set dressing is a natural instinct. While doing time as an executive assistant in development and acquisitions for one of the leading Hallmark companies and Executive Assisting George Bloom, a V.P. of Creative Development of Motion Picture for Disney Pam regained her focus on casting. Having cast commercial spots and new media spots for McDonalds, Tide, Budweiser, VW, Bank of America, Petco, Wal-Mart, Coca Cola, Cox Communications, Taco Del Mar, Metro, Colgate, Mercedes Benz, Nike, Adidas, and Goodyear for 20 years, Pam started casting independent films with such stars as Selma Hayek, Creed Bratton, Kate Maberly, Ron Perlman, Armand Assante, Luke Perry, Raynor Scheine, Christopher Lloyd, LeAnn Rimes, JK Simpson, Cuba Gooding Jr., Eric Roberts, Keith David, Michael Ironside, Bookeem Woodbine, Jean Smart, Norman Reedus, Alyssa Milano, Emily Rios, and Clarence Williams III, and Patrick Muldoon.
