Hey, guys! Thanks for stopping by my channel. Let me introduce myself? So, my name is Paige White & I'm 18 years old. I'm a small town musician with the dream to make it big. A little bit of my background? I grew up with a tough childhood to say the least. My parents divorced since before I can even remember. So I pretty much spent my entire life going between their houses. Don't worry.. They're both still around. My mom started seeing this guy shortly after who ended up becoming my step dad. He then turned out to be INCREDIBLY mentally abusive to my mom & I. I have a younger (full) brother, Nick, who was ADORED by my (now ex) step dad. My (ex) step dad always made me feel so worthless. Luckily, my mom divorced him about 7 years ago. Another hard thing my family & I had to deal with was cancer & death. I lost my aunt (mom's sister) to cancer when I was in 2nd grade. I barely remember her, which I hate. I really wish I could've gotten to know her better. I also lost my uncle (mom's brother) to cancer when I was in 6th grade. It's something that's really hard on me, considering I never got much time with either of them. But, it's life. Now, when it comes to friends.. I never truly had any. I made my first friend in 2nd grade & she ended up using me. I was her second choice when her other friends weren't around. But, she was all I had & back then.. I didn't realize how bad it was. I just put up with it. I made a new friend my 5th grade & she did the exact same thing. When it came around to my 6th grade year, I had nobody. I had lost both of them, which in reality, was probably better for me. The end of my 7th grade year, I found my inspiration. Miley Cyrus. She's my life. Over the years, I've found so many things that her & I have in common. I became the biggest Miley fan you would ever meet. But, my school didn't like that too much. I guess I was too old to be a Hannah Montana fan? I got pretty bullied for it. But I didn't let that stop me. She was my survival, I guess you could say. Everything about her helped me through my rough times, which comes to my freshman year.. I let my depression get the best of me & my life had started to go down a drain. I felt so alone for like 2 years. Miley's music, TV show & YouTube videos helped me so much. They were the only things that could cheer me up. She inspired me through everything, including the reason I picked up guitar. Which brings me back to my childhood. I was always super close with my mom & she grew up doing community theater. I loved it, so I followed in her footsteps. With that said, performing has always been a huge part of my life. I've practically lived on the stage my whole life. I've always had a big interest in doing music, but it didn't hit me until my freshman year of HS that it's what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I then put aside the whole acting thing & started focusing on my music. It became something I loved doing, but I wanted to start doing something with it, therefore.. I joined chorus to strengthen my voice, taught myself guitar & made a YouTube to start posting covers. I had no idea I'd even get anywhere near this big on YouTube. I didn't think I had the chance, but I went for it anyway. I then started to write. Writing has been my journal. It's the only way I can put out my feelings. I try to put it through words that other people can also relate to. I then started putting my past into my lyrics. The more I've gotten into it & the older I've gotten, I've realized that you don't have to follow in footsteps. In fact, it's the best thing to create your own. There's nothing I want more than to make it big to INSPIRE people to be themselves, forget the bullies & follow their dreams. I've changed a lot over the years by finding who I am & I've never been so satisfied. My love is music & I will make it big. There is no doubt about it. You have to be dedicated & you have to stick to what you want. It's been a little over 3 years since I've started working on my music & I work my hardest 24/7. I'll tell you one thing & that is.. I will not give up. I get haters, yes. But doesn't ever celebrity?? It's apart of the job. In fact, it's apart of life. You just have to ignore them, but also pay attention. When I say that, I mean.. Don't give them what they want, but prove them wrong. Get out there & let them strengthen you. With that said.. Please help me live my dream? It can happen y'know.. Just watch as I grow. I love you all.

I've been following you for over a year now Paige (since TJ told me about you). Your voice has absolutely matured and improved !! I always look forward to hearing your new videos.
