About this user

We are The Outlet. We originated in Brookings, SD at South Dakota State University. Now we are based out of Sergeant Bluff, IA. Our music is a unique blend of Metal, Techno, Rock, and Pop, being influenced by bands such as Daft Punk, BTBAM, Coldplay, Slipknot and Muse. We believe in writing complex, yet ear pleasing music, and putting on high-energy shows. We are a six-piece band including a lead vocalist (Brandion Olsen), two guitarists/back up vocalists (Josh Weber, Matt Wiest), a keyboardist/back up vocalist (Joshua Rodasti), a bassist (Josh Danderand) and a drummer (Adam Ferris). We officially formed our band in June of 2009. Since then, we have been playing shows, writing songs, and promoting our band in every way possible. In our first two months we got to work in a hurry playing shows and writing music. We have played shows in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota and are looking to spread across the country and eventually the world.
