It was straight-to-video, it's likely going to be low-budget and with the animators not putting enough effort into filming with considerably less special effects than that of a more higher budget film release theatrically. So what do you really expect here?

One knows that these merely are puppets, but I'm so use to seeing them brought to life on television that it would be weird for many see to these puppets inactive and disassembled behind the scenes.

That's why I normally prefer not to use the abilities like remote-bombing and walking through objects, 'cause I find that it makes this game way too easy.

To an extent, I welcome a bit of a challenge and often just stick with using the normal power-ups.

This version and the "modified" one are exactly the SAME. The only thing they did with the modified version was added a graphic called rip lines around the circle, that's the ONLY difference.

You'll also notice that in his early appearances, Snuffy seems to walk in sort of a strange way almost like he's dancing. Like he does in this video.

That particular quote would have also been a giveaway. Wonder why they didn't have Simba question him about how he could have known how his father looked "before" he died and why it looked so familiar to him in the first place.
