OCRF is the leading independent agency dedicated to advancing ovarian cancer research in the United States. Since 1998, we have awarded over $28 million in grants to 128 of the brightest women and men in the field today at over 40 leading medical centers across the country. A broad range of research has been funded across all areas including ovarian cancer screening and early detection, prevention, therapeutics, cancer biology, and genetics.
Grant applications are reviewed by OCRFs Scientific Advisory Committee, which is comprised of eleven of the nations leading gynecologic oncologists and researchers. The Scientific Advisory Committee ranks and makes recommendations for OCRFs four high-impact grant programs: Program Project Development Grant Awards, Liz Tilberis Scholars Program for Excellence in Ovarian Cancer Research, Ovarian Cancer Research Training Program of Excellence, and the Individual Investigator Awards.
