As for the meaning, I have no idea. But I don't know if I really believe the stuff about him getting what it means to be addicted...it just seems too shallow for such a deep scene.
@MrMousket I can't remember how old Hannibal was meant to be in Silence of the Lambs, but surely he must be at least 54. I say this because in 1944 he appeared to be at least 8 years old, although he could have been even older.
And just out of interest, does anyone remember how games like this used to come in nice big cardboard boxes? Not like the DVD cases they come in today.
And they used to have nice, big, thick game manuals. I remember the one for The Age of Kings was HUGE and explained every unit/building in heap...
