About this user

An ear-catchingly great bluegrass band from Central Maine. Formed in June of 2007, The NitPickers play traditional and original bluegrass and newgrass with impressive harmonies and raw enthusiasm.

Their recently released self-titled CD displays a range of material from newgrass instrumentals to eloquent ballads to playful modern bluegrass delivered with heart and commitment.

Members are Don Bernier on fiddle, mandolin, guitar and vocals, Jane Bernier on guitar, mandolin and vocals, Rich Bernier on dobro, guitar and vocals, Rick Dale on banjo, guitar and vocals, and Woody Woods on bass and vocals.
