When a young woman is pushed to her limits, she pushes back. The original Noir inspired silent film screened at the 2011 San Francisco 48 hour film festival - The Director's cut is 4 times longer!
The challenge for the festival was to make a short fim from scratch in 48 hours or less. The project ended up with more footage then time left to edit it in. Recently re-cut, the film now includes several missing scenes previously shot, as well as three new segments shot on RED. This new cut screened for the first time along with the musical score performed live lead by John Thatcher Boomer III at the Roxie theater in San Francisco on October 23rd 2013.
In memory of Paul Addis
Paul Addis -- the San Francisco playwright and performer best known for igniting Burning Man's eponymous central symbol early in the 2007 event, a crime for which he served two years in a Nevada prison -- died Saturday October 27 2012 after jumping in front of an evening BART train in Embarcadero station. He was 42.
