The first video from Project 813, an online collaboration/tribute group formed by me and Simon, with Nightwish's epic, Ghost Love Score. Featuring one of the most impressive singers of Youtube, Katia Iva a.k.a. ar0undthesun, a real choir and violins.
Like us on Facebook! https://www.faceb...
Used Pro Tools to produce and mix this song and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the video.
I don't like the idea of enclosing a vlog to these projects, but since this is the first one I decided to make it, since it's the best way to communicate with you viewers - some people are too lazy to read descriptions.
Thanks for watching, make sure to Like, Favorite and leave a comment below saying what you think about it!

Orchestral track: Sorry guys, orchestral track was taken down by Youtube, you can check it here instead: [Link soon] ____________________________________________________________
INFO:
Vocals were recorded by Katia Iva using a Shure beta58, through an Edirol UA25EX preamp/interface, then she worked on the videos individually, in other words, the vocal lines and the different video parts (different angles, backing vocals) were recorded separately. Katia's video background texture by freaky665.deviantart.com.
Keyboards were recorded through line-in (onboard A/D) using Korg TR sounds, N364 is being used as controller. I recorded sound before then I worked on the videos, so they might, sometimes, look out of sync or something. I decided to play just the keyboard lines, no orchestral nor solos, like Tuomas plays live.
Guitars were recorded by Simon Besozzi using an Agile Interceptor Pro 727 with EMG pickups for the rythm lines and an Ibanez RG350DX-WH with Dimarzio & Seymour Duncan pickups for the solo/s, both recorded through an M-Audio Mobile Pre preamp/interface, effects were generated through Amplitube 3. We decided to add a pre-solo as well as a longer solo ending because this ain't just a cover, we're not Nightwish, this is our version of it. We have two guitar videos going on by the simple fact that we also have two rythm guitar lines.
Bass was recorded by Eivind Lystad using a Morgan bass through onboard A/D.
Violins were recorded by Kim Schiavo using a Nhureson with Infeld Blue strings, using a pair of CAD GLX1200 microphones. Doubled violin videos for the same reason of guitars.
Choir was recorded with an M-Audio MicroTrack II and overworked. We didn't spend a dime on this video, the choir is not professional.
Drums were programmed by me using Superior Drummer 2.
Orchestra was arranged and mixed by me as well using the following sample libraries:
Strings: Audiobro - LA Scoring Strings Choirs: Cinesamples - Voxos Brass: Project SAM - Orchestral Brass Classic Woods, Percussion and additional instruments: East West - Quantum Leap Additional percussion: Mixed samples from freesound.org
Song produced and mixed by me, Vithor Moraes, at Studio 813 in São Paulo, Brazil and mastered by Iago Gimarães at CasinhaRecords in Senhor do Bonfim, Brazil.

From "Walker, Texas Ranger", Chuck Norris wipes the floor with black belt martial artists and their master, played by Toshishiro Obata! (Note: It's hard [for me] to tell exactly what art they're training in, looks like either karate or aikido. Chuck is definitely doing some aikido moves.)
--Thanks for aikikarl for recognizing Toshishiro! :D
