About The Naples Players
The Naples Players are a Community Theatre Company founded in 1953 and we perform at the Sugden Community Theatre at 701 5th Avenue South in Downtown Naples, Florida. We have been named the "Best Live Theatre" in Southwest Florida (including professional theaters) nine times (as of 2011) by the readers poll of The Naples Daily News, and consistently ranked as one of the Top Five Community Theatres in the United States. CNN and Money Magazine cited us in September of 2008 as one of the reasons why Collier County Florida is one of the top five "Best places for a long life in the United States".
