I love Mr. Vinton's music....but this is Gene's song, hands down.......Pitney gives it much more emotion with that wonderful voice he had.....but this is a nice version also!

I lay claim to being the world's biggest Neil Diamond fan...but I also have always loved Gary Puckett and his music......such a part of my younger days both.....this is Neil's song....b ut Gary does a very very nice job on this......I enjoyed listening to it!!

Soooooooooo much beauty right here in our own country......yet so many people flock to Europe...the Caribbean....elsewhere but here with our own natural beauty. And I'm not saying that these places arn't beautiful to visit....but just look at the grandeur we have...right here!!!

Gene was a Connecticut "boy" thru and thru....I remember cutting high school classes and driving to Rockville back in '68 to locate his house...what a thrill for me to be on Hammond Street...imagining how many times Gene walked that very street as a young man! I admit I idolised(sp) the man....ev...

I have always been a Gene Pitney fan since the early 60's..and loved his version of this song. I must admit tho Neil does a fine rendition of this song, and I have also been a fan of Mr. Sedaka...but for me it will always be Gene's song...just a joy to hear good music compared to the rap-crap you...

It's quite obvious that he is just displaying his intense love and sometimes disatisfaction about the Red Sox....I understood him to say that Carl Crawford best get his act together......and not to use David Bard too much and thus burn him out....people.....baby talk is sooo easy to understand so...

My daughter and I had the pleasure of being at this performance..and it was great to hear him sing this wonderful song along with his other hits....he truly is a fantastic singer/songwriter.....and there at the Wolf Den....he really opened up and provided us with a fun evening.... thanks Richard ...

SORRY..BUT THAT IS not A DC-10 at the end of this film....looks like a 757 or later plane! The DC-10 had engines mounted in the rear...off the wings!
