About this user

This channel is for my family & friends. The older family films have been lost but I was lucky to have had them transferred when I did. All I can say is in a loud voice John Sullivan you son of a gun! Long story and I will spare him the public humiliation hehe. I forgive him.

I created this channel when my sister passed away and it was the only way to reach & share these images with my family who is now scattered around this small world.

Our family has gone through its own transformation and falling ins and falling outs. I can't keep track so I stand back now and just look at what I've collected over the years and its a heck of a lot. The quality may not be the best but the memories are priceless.

At times people (family) got irritated with me or my own father for that matter for trying to continue to capture family times. Well as time went on and as we lost family members. Those very same people came back to ask "Do you have a photo or film of..."

Well yes I do I would say and I would share that fond memory. Most of my collection may not be museum quality but you can't go back and you cant replace the images or films. Once they are gone they are gone.

I continue to preserve what I have archived in my own life time with images stored about the house in bins & boxes. Protected what I had so that someday maybe someone would say Wow I remember that hey that's my dad with your dad or boy your mother was beautiful. There is so much work to be done but I will move forward with a life time project still ahead of me.
