I'm now dedicating my channel to wolves. On May 4th, 2009, Gray wolves were removed from the endangered species list; avalibe for open kill, hunt, and even game hunt. It is so horrible to think how people can go and shoot wolves for NO REASON, and get away with it! Yes, some wolves have killed cattle, but, MOST OF THE TIME WOLVES ARE MISTAKEN FOR COYOTES! Wolves DON'T deserve the reputation that they have. Since wolves are hunted by humans, they try to stay away from human scent, and THIS is why wolves only kill cattle as last choice for food. Whoever hates wolves, and kills them, needs to go and get some serious help. I mean really, think about it, OTHER than wolves killing cattle, what do they do wrong? There has only been 3 recorded wolf attacks in the WORLD, and every one of the wolf attacks, were not fatal, no serious injuries, and the wolf attacks were to HUNTERS! Don't you see, we are the wolves greatest threat. WE NEED TO SAVE THEM! Most wolves live in packs, led by an alpha male and an alpha female. A wolf's color can range from pure white, to pitch black. Wolves live in: United States, Canada, Europe, in the Arctic, and some in Mexico. Alpha wolves move with confidence, but lower ranking wolves move with their bodies close to the ground, ears laid back against their head, and their tails tucked between their legs. Wolves hunt: Bison, Deer, Rabbits, Elk, and sometimes eggs. How large a wolf's territory is, depends on how much food there is. If there is plenty of food, the territory will be smaller. If there is little food the area will be larger. A wolf's territory can range from as little as 5 square miles, to as much as 500,000 square miles! Of course, it is very rare to see a pack with 500,000 square miles, but it's possible. The pack(s) that do have that large of a territory, have huge packs, and probably the food is hard to find. In another case, a pack of wolves can range from 2 members to 50 members. Now, you can see why the territory for 50 wolves would be so large! Mostly Only about half the pups in a litter will survive. With the weather, human hunters, and other animals that hunt them, the fight for survival is hard.
