fire red: abra(game corner), not keeping track of SRs
ruby: regirock
leaf green: charmander, not keeping track of SRs, probably around 500-600 so far, i'm not sure

YES! I FINALLY GOT IT!

At about 8:05 p.m. on March 9, 2009, I found shiny Charmander! I have always wanted this shiny. I began SRing for it on my LeafGreen in July. I SRed on and off until October 31, 2008. Then, I decided to play through the game. However, on November 3, 2008, I restarted the game because I realized what I really wanted was shiny Charmander. I then began SRing for it again and kept track of the SRs. When I got to 7,705 SRs, I decided to restart my FireRed (traded shiny Tangela, Alakazam, Pidgey, and Dratini to my Emerald) and also hunt shiny Squirtle on there. I did over 100 SRs for Squirtle. I soon decided to also hunt Charmander on my FireRed too. I SRed on both games at the same time and was able to get 3 SRs a minute instead of 2 (as when SRing on one game). I did about 8,524 SRs on my LeafGreen, and at about 1037 SRs for Charmander on FireRed, it shone! I was expecting it to shine on LeafGreen first, but I'm glad it shone on my FireRed since it has my favorite ID: 01010.

I will be EVing this amazing shiny Charmander while hunting random shinies on my awesome FireRed file! I have many targets now that I can actually play through the game. I will also continue SRing on my LeafGreen for either Squirtle or Bulbasaur (not revealing which).

The total amount of SRs between 2 different LG files (the first I didn't keep track of the SRs on) and a few FR files is over 10,000.
