The Martians have been coming for a very, very long time indeed... after reducing the snivveling puny-human race to its knees in the closing years of the nineteenth century they all came down with the cold and had to withdraw to Cumbernauld in Scotland. One hundred and three years later, their attempts to control the world, this time through the medium of pop music were dealt a crippling blow when lead singer Sneddon won a karaoke competition in London. Now, a full five years after that, the evil of the Martians has found a new genre: musical theatre! Their horror musical 'the Sundowe' won the Highland Quest for a new musical and was produced in Inverness by Eden Court and Cameron Mackintosh - the man famous for musicals about Cats and Frenchmen.

Their next opus, Greyfriars Twisted Tales, received five star reviews all over the place in the 2008 Edinburgh Festival.
