May our lord juses christ be wit u always. Love an peace pete.
So while he wasn't paid as a visiting professor, that's completely irrelevant, and your interpretation of the history is not only PAINFULLY shallow, it's dead wrong. That's all there is to it.
I'll let someone else take a shot at stomping on your carcass. I've kicked your ass enough already.
Whether or not Mises was an asshole (he was from what I gather), is totally irrelevant to why he's wrong. You're an asshole, does that make you wrong? No, it doesn't. Ludwig Von Mises was widely respected in Vienna as an economist, serving as a secretary for the Vienna Chamber of Commerce. During his time there, he became the closest economic adviser to Engelbert Dollfuss, and was even offered a high paying job at the Central Bank of Vienna in 1929, but turned it down because, "There is a crash coming, and I want no connection to it." And, sure enough, the economy imploded. Mises warned the world in his book, "The Theory of Money and Credit" what would happen if the world started experimenting with Central Banks. We're seeing that warning play out today.
