C&C Generals 2 -- In-Game Footage Sneak Peek
In-game footage sneak peek for the much anticipated Command & Conquer Generals 2.
As the modern world plunges into war, only the Generals remain.
Oh, yeah... I forgot about Origin.
As much as I love Generals, and however much I'm looking forward to this game; if I'm required to install another bit of DerpRM software, I'll just have to pass.
At least I can play the good CnC games without having to succumb to it.

The bass is double-tracked, so it's one bass line and one lead line following the guitars; it is quite a challenge. : )

@rockme1337 The Tube Screamer is, in fact, a transistor distortion pedal. So, if you're pushing an overdriven amp with a tube screamer, it's distorted before it even gets to the amp input.

I don't know why everyone has a problem with his vibrato; it really suits this song, I think.
I'll miss Dan too, but Eliot does a really good job, so far. He's better than Monuments' old vocalists were (in the cleans, anyway; I love Neema's rap-like screams.)

All the old demos sound a lot more like Fellsilent than Monuments, to be honest. Their newer tracks are much groovier, slower.
Don't know which I prefer; but the slower songs certainly stand out amongst the current in-crowd like periphery and tesseract.

@Dissimulatex It can be necessary. My guitar can still kick out a fair amount of unwanted bass, even with heavy palm muting; so I found that palm muting is sometimes not quite enough to stop the string dead; but when you palm mute and fret mute at the same time it pretty much kills the vibration...
