i make too much money to have ever wanted to be a history teacher, thats been true within 3 years of graduating and ever since... what sick is that i made more money than my brother at a high paying government job than he did after teaching history for 10 years! so i got this question MANY TIMES, how many times have u got it?:

there is a real history buff at work who dressed up like a knights templar for work, the red cross and helmet with nose guard... he is ALWAYS reading history... i have talked with him many times about history... he and only one other of 50 or so i work with and know are worth a damn in history... because they read it!

anyway, he is SO STUCK in old history that he did not know of anders breivik and his Templar "revival"!... i asked him if he was part of the anti multiculturalism trend as per anders... he didn't even know about it, weird... some people are so stuck in the past they don't even know the present...

oh crap, u have me beat... my brother and i both have history degrees, he has a masters, i do not... whats interesting after he has taught for almost 23 years is that i found out he needed a full 4 more classes to get his degree! thats 12 more credit hours in history for his BA from the same college that i graduated from i think maybe 8 years later, if even... i needed 124 credit hours and only 33 in history... thats the college of lib arts and science for you... history was actually my 3rd major and if i had more time i would have switched to geography having aced 5 of the 6 classes i took, our geog. department was too limited...

sadly alot of the pro hitler nazi stuff is "revisionism", same with holocaust denial... of course u know one of the main lessons of history, aside from repeating it, is that the winners of war write history, as HERACLITUS said, WAR IS THE FATHER OF ALL
