My goal is to make a massive channel that focuses on making known (and whereby spreading) the intensely spiritual side of Islam. I really take from all schools of thought. I am a big fan of the whole Zaytuna crew [Hamza Yusuf, Zaid Shakir, Habib Ali Jifri, Suhaib Webb, etc.] -But I'm not uber-anti-Salafi either. I try my best to take from all schools of thought, and if someone says something that appeals to both my mind and my heart, and if they can back it up with Qu'ran, Sunnah, or the sayings of the Salaf, or the writings of the well-known and accepted scholars, then I have no problem taking it.

I try not to get psychotic over issues that there are legitimate differences of opinion on in this ummah, I pick my battles when it comes to debating both Muslims and non-Muslims, and if I don't engage you it's either because 1) I feel your argument is weak enough that it requires no further response, 2) I've yet to hear/see what you've had to say, but when I do, I'll respond! 3) The difficulty outweighs the benefit. Seriously, if I'm gonna spend hours uploading and editing a video, it's gonna be over and issue that I care about, or that at least has the chance of getting some people to look at an issue in a different way.

Aside from the "spirituality of Islam" I also intend, at some point in the future, to start debating some of these rabid anti-Islam nutjobs here on youtube. I will have a "debates" playlist (though that is probably not what I will ultimately call it) where I debunk the wannabe debunkers!

As for those who really enjoy my videos and would like to hijack them and put them on your channel: I don't mind on 2 conditions: 1) That you leave my "Lettered Wayfarer" productions tag at the beginning of the video, and 2) That you link to my channel in your video description. As long as you do that, you can take all of my videos that you want. Otherwise, you DO NOT have my permission, and I will take from your good deeds on the Day of Judgment inshallah! ;)

Last but not least I sincerely ask that all Muslims who come across this channel; please make honest and heartfult du'a for me, for the success of this channel, for blessings in my efforts and my attempts to seek knowledge, and that many people come to Islam through me and my efforts. It would greatly be appreciated.
