Alan Wake's American Nightmare takes place two years after the events of Alan Wake, our eponymous hero finds himself in the middle of a new adventure in Arizona, where his own words again hold the key to defeating his evil twin, the malevolent Mr. Scratch, who spreads darkness where he goes. Now more experienced at dealing with the weird and horrific, Wake is determined to turn the tide. Despite being a stand-alone game, it does help if you've played Alan Wake before, particularly its DLCs 'The Signal' and 'The Writer' in terms of narrative -- this is, in essence, a direct sequel to 'The Writer' and, with no recalling of the story, things can feel a bit muddled.

The psytrance group Growling Mad Scientists (living in Ibiza formore than 10 years) regularly tour the world and have sold over 300,000 albums on over 150 releases. G.M.S. began when Riktam and Bansi met in high school at age 14 in Amsterdam. Both were passionate about electronic music, so the duo chose to leave school and seek their education in the club scene. Even though they were too young to legally enter a nightclub, Riktam and Bansi began spinning at clubs in Amsterdam. On most occasions, they had to be whisked into the building's side door to avoid scrutiny by the authorities. While in the DJ booth, they'd often receive double takes from clubbers who caught a glimpse of the two teenagers. This was the early '90s and Amsterdam's club/rave scene was in its infancy, and genres like Gabber dominated the fledgling culture. Two years later, Riktam and Bansi traveled to Goa and experienced a musical epiphany. It was in Goa, India they started playing Goa trance. In Goa, Riktam and Bansi DJ'ed at some of the wildest, most memorable parties of their young lives, which also brought them to gigs around Europe.
When Riktam and Bansi returned to Amsterdam, one of their friends had purchased some recording equipment. They started their production career and called themself G.M.S. After a few early singles, G.M.S. released their debut album (Chaos Laboratory) on Alien News in 1997, which was recorded with former member Sebastian Claro, who left the group after a two-year stint. In 1997, Riktam and Bansi moved to Ibiza, Spain. In 2000, Riktam and Bansi formed Spun Records with partner Seth Hoffman. In 2004, Hollywood took note of G.M.S. by licensing G.M.S. tracks for the movie Man On Fire starring Denzel Washington. Their tracks are also used on various sports channels and they have performed all over the world
