I like a wide variety of artists and genres... my favourite genres are Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Symphonic and Power Metal, Celtic/Folk Metal and Classical Music (Especially piano and violin pieces). Other types of music that I like are Post-grunge Rock, Alt-rock, Progressive Metal, Country, Bluegrass, Blues, New Age and some J-Rock. Yeah... So mostly rock music with a smattering of other genres on the side...
Books:
Again, I read a large variety of different genres... in particular historical fiction, thrillers, science-fiction, fantasy, Indian fiction and non-fiction. My favourite authors at the moment are Khaled Hosseini, Amitav Ghosh, J.R.R. Tolkein and Arthur C. Clarke.

I've only been to three countries- USA, Canada and the Bahamas, but I've been to like thirty states in the US and have friends that spent most of their lives so far in Europe... I want to go with them sometime when they visit... :-)
