You might want to search for an online walkthrough of this game. There is a ton of stuff that you are not getting. You skipped right over the 99 life power up and ED-209 gatling gun in the last stage. There is also alot of extra lives that you are not getting in this stage. Just a fyi.

Dang this takes me back to when Saturday morning cartoons started at 6 am and didn't go off until 12 pm. Saturdays were all about cartoons, your favorite cereal, and having epic battles between your GI Joes, Transformers, Visionaries, and Ghostbusters. Truly awesome times :)
